This collaboration is a cross cultural project between Jin-Ah Jo and Alison Reid.

Jin-Ah Jo, a contemporary silversmith and jeweller, explores her cultural heritage through the languages of Korea and English, as well as the visual language of form and design.

Jo presents a new collection of contemporary jewellery exploring difference through form, materials, colour and shape, highlighting displacement, deconstruction, similarities and connections.

Alison Reid, an art historian presents a series of critical writings exploring cross cultural connections between Australia and Korea which enhance and encourage new and innovative work in the field of contemporary jewellery.

The collaboration commences 8 April, 2010, coinciding with the 14th Biennial Conference of the Jewellers and Metalsmiths Group of Australia, (JMAG), 9-11 April, 2010, Perth.
