About Al
ART WITH AL is a site where partnerships and collaborations are formed with Alison Reid, (Al) Canberra, Australia. These partnerships will involve:
Artists, Craftspeople and Designers - new, emerging and established, who display a strong visual language, a high degree of technical ability and who challenge their respective fields of art, craft and design. These practitioners will be represented by Alison and marketed on a global platform.
Exhibitions - a program of online exhibitions which showcase the work of these innovative contemporary artists, craftspeople and designers.
Happenings - a program of mini exhibitions or one off events to interact and engage with artists, craftspeople, designers. These events and activities are not as comprehensive as an exhibition but will allow practitioners to trial their work in the commerical market through a small number of works, approximately 1 - 3.
Collaborations - a program of events and activities undertaken by Al and in partnership with practitioners, galleries and specialists such as curators, academics, film makers and consultants. These events and activities will be grouped into Gallery B and Projects.
Al is actively seeking to develop a series of collaborations and is interested in receiving proposals for innovative projects that comment upon and challenge contemporary culture.
Gallery B - Al is interested in assisting new and emerging practitioners to establish their practice and exhibit their work. If you are interested in an Internet profile please read the following Terms.
Publishing - a program of research to examine and evaluate contemporary art, craft and design.
Al is actively seeking specialists to develop a publishing program.
